The "What"
Virtual Comics is a comic book imprint launched in 1996 by Byron Preiss, the website attempted to deliver comic books digitally in the mid 90s. Unfortunately, it was too ahead of its time and it was shut down two years later.
As lovers of comic book media, characters, properties, culture, and art style, we are here to revive this platform as an independent imprint with original Intellectual Properties, as well as to serve as a distribution/marketplace platform for independent comic book creators, publishers, and distributors to sell their digital comics.
The "Who"
VirtualComics.com is being revived by Eli Galindo. After acquiring the Virtual Comics brand officially from Ibooks Inc/ Brick Tower Press; Eli decided that the best way to use the brand was to create a platform which would distribute Comic books from independent creators, distributors, publishers.
The "Where"
You will be able to access Virtual Comics on your desktop, laptop or mobile browser on day one. Mobile apps will come at a later date.
The "When"
Currently Virtual Comics is under construction and progressing rather quickly. It is currently being built by two teams in Latin America and Europe.
